| KULP Foundry is a family owned jobbing shop located on 20 acres in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Jesse B. Kulp, John Kulp, and Otto Groth founded the business and poured their first mold in May of 1946 at the original foundry located on 3rd street in Stroudsburg. In 1955, while the current foundry in East Stroudsburg was being built, the Stroudsburg facility was destroyed by a devastating flood. The old foundry was completely washed out. The employees of KULP Foundry were without jobs, but they rallied together and helped to build the new foundry without receiving any pay. This spirit and employee loyalty is one of the key reasons for the company's past, present, and future success in the manufacturing industry. | | | |
